"I just want to start off by saying who ever doesn't have state farm should switch and fast!!! "I went to AJ only to sign a paper for a beneficiary change on life insurance, but he did so much more! He helped me save money on our car insurance with a 16 year old boy! He educated me on coverage amounts and the importance of them. He increased the coverage we had on all 4 cars and we still saved by switching to a State Farm policy. "(This review is as myself, Tom Hypes and not representative of the church listed in the goole account). I have been a State Farm customer for the most part of the last 20 years. After my agent retired, I was assigned to this agency. I never met Nathan as I hear he works at his other office but did work with his associate AJ in the Marion office. I won't bog down this review with all the details but we went in for life insurance. The initial meeting went well but for the next three months or so, it was a nightmare of things falling through the cracks, things not getting done properly, and not hearing back in a timely manner and in one question, not at all. Things that would take 45 seconds on the computer became things that "we are still checking on" or "I am consulting with someone on". Our premium went up and down each month as we were overcharged and credited but with no communication on what was happening so for a few months, our financial planning for the bill was impossible to plan for. The presentations to me was odd and like a used car sales man at times. It got to a point that I was done and then the agent (after one voice mail), started coming to my home and business trying to find me after I filled out a survey State Farm sent me that gave him negative input. Then, we got notices that both of our life insurance policies had been cancelled with refund checks because the proper paperwork (which no one contacted us about) was not filed to amend the policy amounts once they jacked up the prices on us so we had to lower the coverage. In other words, several months of waiting, reaching out, physicals, and the like just so they would cancel our policies anyways. I like State Farm and have requested a new agent. I have met with him and like him quite a bit (he even answered the question I couldn't get answered for three months in 45 seconds) but I will not go back to this office. Again, more details but that's enough for the jist."
